About the Artist

Thank you for visiting! I'm Katie Steinbach, and I am a self-taught artist specializing in expressionism from the United States. I have always had an interest in art, however my passion for painting nature & wildlife came after a backpacking trip on the Pacific Crest Trail during the summer of 2018. After spending an extended period of time in some of the country's most remote regions, I felt compelled to create art which might inspire others to see the beauty in our world's most vulnerable landscapes and its inhabitants. Currently, I am living in southern California with my husband and family and hope to continue finding inspiration in our new surroundings.
